Clothes printing is a great way to promote your brand or create personalized gifts for your friends and family. It’s also a great way to generate sales, especially when you use promotional items in giveaways and contests. Having your business logo printed on t-shirts, hats, and other garments can help your customers remember your brand and encourage them to shop with you again.

The most common printing technique is screen printing, which uses a stencil to print designs on fabric. This method requires a separate screen for each color in the design, so it’s best reserved for larger orders. To make the stencil, a printer takes an acetate sheet with the desired design and places it over a mesh screen that’s coated with a light-reactive emulsion. The screen is then exposed to a bright light, which hardens the areas of the stencil that have been covered by the emulsion. The printer then applies ink through the open parts of the stencil to imprint the design onto the garment.

Digital heat transfer (DHT) is another popular printing method. This type of printing involves using a digital printer to print the design onto the garment or accessory, then heating it to bind it to the material. This process is similar to that of normal printers, which makes it easy for any team member to learn how to operate.

Another option is sublimation, which uses a special polyester dye to permanently bind the design to the fabric fibers. This is a great choice for dark-colored clothing, as the colors won’t fade after washing or wear. Another advantage of this type of printing is that it doesn’t require any pretreatment of the fabric, like with screen printing.
