There are two main types of clothes printing methods. Thermal transfer printing and screen printing. Thermal transfer printing uses a conventional printer and a heat press to create designs on clothes. The disadvantage of thermal transfer printing is that the printed results may not be as accurate as those from screen printing. The main advantage of screen printing is its ease of use and cheap production cost. However, the process can be very time-consuming.

In contrast, heat press printing is easy to use and is a great option for smaller quantities of t-shirts. This method is able to replicate intricate designs, and produces soft and durable shirts. It also produces a full spectrum of colors. It is ideal for clothing designs that require a lot of detail.

Embroidery: Embroidery is a great way to make designs pop on clothes. By using thread, this printing method makes it easy to add a logo to a uniform. It is also a great option for workwear printing, since it will last a long time and not fade with washing.

Digital printing: Digital printing occupies a vital position in modern printing technology. Digital printing is generally divided into two types – paperless digital printing and digital jet printing. In digital jet printing, the design of the pattern is sent to the fabric printing factory where employees use CAD software for colour separation and jet printing control software to print it onto a transfer paper. This process is suitable for garments made from chemical fiber or blended fabrics.
